The Partizipation Digital project aims to improve information management in Berlin to effectively support the information access, integration, and social inclusion of Berliners from third countries. In collaboration with our project partners – the Office of the Berlin Integration Commissioner and the Berlin Welcome Center – we are developing a digital information system that brings together all relevant information for this target group and facilitates access to digital services.

At the heart of this system is an inter-institutional editorial network responsible for coordinating the flow of information and ensuring the provision of multilingual information and services. We are working closely with stakeholders from public administration, the private sector/businesses, and civil society, to ensure that the digital services are easy to use. Our approach is participatory: we develop digital services together with (new) immigrants to Berlin to ensure they are tailored to the needs of the target groups. In other words, the project is paving the way for clear, user-friendly digital structures that make everyday-relevant information and services more accessible.

Through Partizipation Digital, we are creating an innovative digital information system that promotes the integration and social inclusion of (new) immigrants, thereby making a significant contribution to strengthening the participation opportunities of Berliners from third countries.
